FRINGE PREVIEW: THE TRICK

FRINGE PREVIEW: THE TRICK

Fringe 2018 is set to be one of the best Perth has seen. A variety of music, theatre, comedy shows and many more are set to excite and entice audience goers this season. The trick is no exception. Fremantle exports, Valentin Lang and Adam Sollis are making their Perth Fringe debut after a successful run in Sydney’s Fringe saw Lang’s first play, ‘Russell’ receive critically high praise.

The trick follows lead Adam (Lang) as he embarks on a journey, looking for his friend, the mysterious ‘Sassquatch’ who strangely lives his life behind a mask, literally. As the two try to reconnect through their distant past memories of a once close bond, Adam begins to understand who his YouTube sensation friend really is. A well written example of friendships and the importance of understanding, the trick is a darkly funny tale that resonates within anyone who has ever drifted from an old friend.

Catch this highly inventive and original play until the 2nd of February! Tickets can be found here.
