FREEDOM TIME Festival returns this summer setting off on its third lap around the sun. The beloved day-night dance-celebration and sound system spectacular will visit three Australian cities; returning to its spiritual home in Perth on New Year’s Eve, then back to Melbourne’s much loved Coburg Velodrome on New Year’s Day, and, for the first time ever, FREEDOM TIME will grace the shores of Sydney, heading to Manning Bar and Gardens on Sunday the 7th of January.

Great Gable gives a mountain of a show for their latest EP Modern Interactions

I remember seeing [Great Gable] around two years ago, playing to about 15 people at the 459 Bar. Yes guys, I remember your cover of Paul Simon’s ’50 Ways To Leave Your Lover’. A truly great choice. Anyways, before this gets a little off track, Gable closed their set with the powerhouse new Foals guitar-tinged track ‘All Day Long’. Leaving the room ringing as they left, it did not take much to see why these guys pull the crowd they do.

Cranking it up with The Creases

As well as smashing out hits from Tremelow, the admirably raucous quartet delivered signature tracks from their Gradient EP. Regardless, the band has come far over the years, with their unmistakable, frivolous sing-along songs and searing guitars, to their exploration of more striking threads.

event completely sold-out Centennial Park in Sydney and cemented its longevity - Electric Gardens
are thrilled to reveal their first announcement of national dates and venues for their hugely anticipated 2018 event.
