FREEDOM TIME FESTIVAL SHARES HUGE NYE LINE-UP LED BY LARRY HEARD, JOHNNY OSBOURNE, BRADLEY ZERO, SASSY J, SILENT JAY & JACE XL + MORE

With its eclectic and free-spirited atmosphere, the FREEDOM TIME Festival is back again. Beginning in its spiritual home Perth on New Year’s Eve, then to Melbourne’s Coburg Velodrome on New Year’s Day and finishing, for the very first time, on the eastern shores of Sydney in the Manning Bar and Gardens on Sunday the 7th of January.

Alongside (and closed by) pioneering house producer Larry Heard (aka Mr Fingers), FREEDOM TIME presents a plethora of talent in an open-air arena. From local names to world-renowned producers, artists and DJs, FREEDOM TIME celebrates diversity, music and community.

Performances include reggae and Jamaican music legend Johnny Osbourne, the percussion based Phil Stroud Band (in Melbourne and Perth), showcases of local talent hosted by London’s Rhythm Section and hand-picked by head honcho Bradley Zero and more.

PERTH attendees can expect a three stage, eight hour festivity as FREEDOM TIME returns to its roots in a humble, yet cosy, Northbridge carpark with performances from multiple DJs, artists and producers across a KBI Sound System as punters countdown to the new year. At the Coburg Velodrome in MELBOURNE, with an outdoor, four-stage day-nighter party-goers can kick off the new year in style with psychedelic disco vibes, neo-jazz and hip-hop magic. Finally, in SYDNEY’s Manning Bar and Garden FREEDOM TIME will wrap up accompanied by Inner West Reggae Disco Machine’s sound system for the multi-stage event.
