Ah Trees Doing It All Right
Perth-based wonder Ah Trees has premiered their new single ‘Do It All Wrong’ in styling fashion, kick-starting the first hit of their upcoming sophomore release and tour of Western Australia. Following their debut EP last year, these WA talents have far exceeded expectations in delivering the single, reminiscent of 80’s synths and disco-inspired rhythms.
‘Do It All Wrong’, with guest vocals by Sydney’s very own Moody Beach, explores the contemporary anxiety permeating a society ever so choked by bad news and the uncertainty of our future. Ironically created as a dance number, the song represents the frivolity of dancing away our distresses in the name of having a good time. It’s hard to stop your foot from tapping to this reminiscent one-stop banger.
Being nominated for 2016’s WA Music Awards and being amongst the top 20 most played songs for Perth’s alternative radio station RTRFM, Ah Trees are an upcoming band to not lose sight of.
