FRINGE REVIEW: Fuego Carnal will set your soul on fire

Ignite the fire in you at Fuego Carnal, the place where passion begins. Fire breathing, fire eating, fire throwing, even fire bagpipes - need I say more? It’s no wonder they have a Kleenheat sizzle factor of ‘very hot’. The range of wild stunts and mesmerising acts are sure to intrigue you, get you on the edge of your seat in anticipation or shock you to the point of disgust.

What’s special about Fuego Carnal is that the performers aren’t just your typical circus group. They have gone above and beyond to use their imagination and come up with terrifying, never-seen-before stunts. And when I say terrifying, I mean terrifying. As cliche as it sounds, I covered up my eyes for fear of witnessing death or serious injury (but still couldn’t help myself and peeked anyway). Each act was unique, with every performer bringing their own version of fiery sass and confidence to the show.

Don’t get me wrong though, it’s not all flames and danger - the audience is graced with sensual musical acts and wicked comedy throughout the show. This serves as a nice break for the spectators to enjoy and relax, basking in the reassurance that no one will get hurt this time, before the next nail-biting feat commences. The range of performers have a clear sense of showmanship and effortlessly win over the audience by owning the stage.

It’s safe to say that Fuego Carnal is probably the hottest show at Fringe. If you’re the type of person who enjoys watching other humans pushing themselves to their physical and mental limits, this is the show for you. The superb range of daredevil stunts and fiery feats will have you gasping in awe and wanting more. Fuel your desire for danger and passion - get your tickets to Fuego Carnal now.
