FRINGE REVIEW: Blanc de Blanc is showstopping, incredible and hilarious
If you’re planning on seeing Blanc de Blanc this Fringe season, you’re in for a treat. With a Kleenheat sizzle rating of ‘hot’, tickets to this incredible show are selling fast for a reason. Be prepared for an evening filled with vintage glamour, breathless abandon and the world’s finest cabaret and acrobatic talent.
Blanc de Blanc starts off with a smooth introduction, which is almost a tease of what’s to come. Without warning, bam — showstopping talent is revealed. From amazing feats on aerial silks, right through to intriguingly disgusting contortionists, the range of cabaret and circus acts in Blanc de Blanc are sure to bring you wonder and delight.
What’s so good about Blanc de Blanc is that it’s not just simply a lineup of incredible performers being showcased one after another. Throughout the show, we are entertained by hilarious MCs and light-hearted acts, giving the audience and the performers a chance to prepare themselves for the next jaw-dropping feat. There were also opportunities for the audience to get involved, so be warned — you may be picked to be brought up on stage.
Sensual and salacious, Blanc de Blanc is wildly inappropriate and not suitable for the kids to tag along. Be prepared for strong nudity, sexual references and crude humour. That being said, it’s certainly an incredible show that you’ll want to experience again and again.
