Podcast: RIP The Best Popular Film Oscar (Part 1)

Remember last year when it was announced that the Academy would be making a category for Best Popular Film?

Wait, no. That was this year. Dear god.

So while the Best Popular Film category was a dumb and baffling idea for numerous reasons, we at Spoiler Nation decided to springboard off of that dumb idea and do an episode composed of our own categories: Best Film, Just Fine Mediocrities, and Worst of the Worst.

In this episode, we are joined by Christopher Spencer aka Mr. Movies. In Part 1, we passionately argue for our over-achieving favourites and calmly discuss our redheaded step children of Just Fines. Look out for Part 2, wherein we’ll lay into our most grievously sucky delinquents.

Potential spoilers for: Hereditary, Tully, Solo, Crazy Rich Asians, You Were Never Really Here, Blackkklansman]
