AUSTRALIAN JAZZ PIONEERS THE NECKS RETURN TO THE ROSEMOUNT ON SUNDAY JUNE 11

Australian influential and experimental jazz pioneers The Necks are touring Australia for the first time in yonks! As part of their 30th anniversary celebrations, they will return to the Rosemount Hotel on 11 June 2017.

Presented by Tura New Music, the trio of Chris Abrahams (piano), Lloyd Swanton (double bass) and Tony Buck (drums) are globally renowned for their unique approach to creating spontaneous music of deceptive simplicity and shimmering beauty.

With 19 internationally-acclaimed albums to their name, The Necks are musical outsiders and will be the first to tell you that their sound isn’t just jazz, minimalist, ambient or avant-garde.
