Get Ready to Disconnect in 2016

Disconnect Festival will be taking over the good village of Fairbridge for another year after a successful inaugural event last year, with some pretty big names booked this time around.

Topping the line-up this year are American synthpop duo Chairlift off the back of this year’s excellent album Moth. English indie rock band Band of Skulls follow, promoting their latest record By Default. Canadian rock duo Japandroids round out the headliners, returning to our shores for the first time since Laneway 2013 with the promise of new material from a follow-up to 2012’s acclaimed Celebration Rock.

Other international acts making the trip include New Zealand dance act Shapeshifter, Jamaican producer Lee “Scratch” Perry, Malaysian singer-songwriter Yuna and Candian jazz/hip-hop act BadBadNotGood. The festival also bolsters an array of Australian talent, including Japanese Wallpaper, The Delta Riggs, Dustin Tebutt and Crooked Colours. The festival will also feature a stack of comedians, cabaret artists, food and assorted entertainment.

Disconnect runs from the 2nd to the 4th of December 2016, with the day-by-day line-ups to be announced.  Pre-sale tickets are available now, with a three day camping ticket priced at $199. Check out the website for more details.
