Not since the gigantic butthole, Foxtel, purchased the rights to AFL broadcast, have we Sandgropers been able to enjoy the fine fruits of live friday night footy. Every week. Its been frustrating, we've been either forced to get the AFL package and fork out beer money, or simply shut down from all social media, news programs and human interactions in order to fully enjoy the 'big game'.
And now, we can, live and in HD on Channel 7's free-to-air HD channel 7mate!
IN understands that Channel 7 Perth will be broadcasting all games on it's digital channels, as well as blockbuster clashes on it's analog one.
7mate will become the home of free-to-air AFL, as Saturday and Sunday games will also be broadcast digitally.
