SURVEY: HAVE YOUR SAY IN THE 2018 ZIG ZAG FESTIVAL
For only the third time in over 32 years, the Zig Zag Community Arts’ Zig Zag Festival has been cancelled due to “[their] numbers [having] fallen too low to mount the Festival this year, but [they] are working on gathering more members so that [they] can come back stronger in 2018," explained Albert Hazebroek, chairperson of the Festival.
Instead, 2017 will be used to plan the 2018 Zig Zag Festival in conjunction with UpBeat Events to improve the upcoming festival. As a public platform to showcase community creativity, arts and heritage, there are also surveys available for community feedback.
The upcoming Zig Zag Festival sounds promising--with an increased focus on community appeal and a vision to “create a community connected by creativity,” it will certainly be a place to discover new and independent creatives from the Perth Hills.
