LIVE SNAPSHOTS: YUNGBLUD & GEORGE ALICE @ ASTOR THEATRE
On his third visit to Perth, Yungblud has again proven himself as a once-in-a-generation performer. While it took him a hot minute to gear up the crowd for the high-energy live show, within the first few songs Mr Blud had every eager fan eating out of the palm of his hand. Despite having already done a meet and greet at the Perth City Culture King earlier in the day, Yungblud still made an effort to do a free meet and greet for several hundred fans who waited for him after the gig had finished.
Having last performed in Perth only a few months ago with Amy Shark, George Alice did an excellent job at warming up the crowd. A particular highlight of the set was their enchanting cover of Peking Duk’s 2014 hit “High”. Based on her performance at the Astor, I think it won’t be too long until George Alice is headlining rooms of a similar size herself.
Yungblud’s third studio album is set for release on September 2nd. for more information head to his website here.
