HyperFest Announces 2022 Line-up

Hyper is returning in 2022 with two standalone events headlined by West Australian acts Stella Donnelly and Spacey Jane.

After a huge return in summer 2021, with three sold-out, limited capacity events, the Hyper team are back delivering the series with a focus on top tier local artists in a COVID safe atmosphere. The Hyper Team are excited to be bringing WA-based legends Stella Donnelly and Spacey Jane back to Hyper for another stellar series of shows.

Drug Aware Hyper presents Stella Donnelly will kick off the series on Saturday, January 29. The evening will also feature triple j favourite Noah Dillon, R&B/funk big band Supathick, triple-j Unearthed feature artist South Summit and WAM Song of the Year Winner for Schools 15-18 Detour.

The second and final show of the series goes even bigger, with two stages across an expanded site. Drug Aware Hyper presents Spacey Jane on Saturday, March 26 and the day will also feature WAM Song of the Year winner Siobhan Cotchinsmol fishKen Paolo & The Space Cadets, Patio Living, Spici Water and Siena Rebelo.

Both shows feature an astonishingly cheap ticket, with Drug Aware Hyper presents Stella Donnelly on sale for only $20, and Drug Aware Hyper presents Spacey Jane only $5 more at $25. Ticket packages are available for both events for only $40.

Tickets will again be sold in stages so that potential impacts of COVID and roll-backs to Phase 4 restrictions will not affect whether the shows will go ahead. The first allotment of tickets are guaranteed a placement at the show in Phase 4 and beyond, with the second allotment guaranteed for the current Phase 5 and beyond and otherwise refunded.

Each show has limited tickets available and these are expected to sell out quickly.

The events will be held in the Locale event space on the corner of Cale Street and The Crescent, Midland.

Hyper attendees will also be able to enjoy gourmet food vans, a photo booth, free 18-hole adventure golf, games, merchandise and a signing tent for all of your favourite artists.

Tickets are available via the HyperFest website www.hyperfest.com.au
