A taste of what's to come at Falls Downtown 2020!
There is much to look forward to and more to come as Falls Festival has just announced the incredible lineup that’s going to ensure the first week of 2020 is one to remember for us Perthians! Headlining this year will be none other than the beautiful and bold Halsey (with an new album currently in the works) joining us from America, along with the consistently marvellous Vampire Weekend and their new country inspired indie-pop album Father of the Bride.
Energy levels are sure to remain high all weekend with the dynamic duo Peking Duk promising the party of a lifetime, as well as the immensely talented and creative Disclosure and well-established musical geniuses PNAU (who treated us to a new single, ‘Solid Gold’, just this year)!
Are you feeling exhausted yet? Don’t worry, this line up has you covered as the melodic Of Monsters And Men are joining us from Iceland, with their new album Fever Dream released just last month. Matt Corby is sure to continue the more chilled vibes, as is the younger, Scottish version of him, Lewis Capaldi!
Also joining us from overseas are the electric BANKS, folksters Milky Chance, Halsey’s boyfriend and a talented artist in his own regard YUNGBLUD, and the creative solo artist The Japanese House.
On top of this, a multitude of amazing Australian artists and bands will be featured at Falls. To name a few: Dope Lemon, Vera Blue, G Flip, Perth locals Crooked Colours, Parcels, Thelma Plum and Baker Boy… and how we could forget the legend of whispering Jack himself? John Farnham will also be joining us at Falls in 2020.
Only 28 artists have been announced so far… with even more to look forward to!
Like the 2019 event, Falls Downtown will be held at Fremantle Oval Precinct. Falls’ wonderful pass-outs policy will once again allow artists and audiences alike to take advantage of Fremantle’s charming surroundings, including cafes, historic sites, markets, retailers, the port, Bathers Beach and much more!
