Ciaran Lyons Delivers Quality Comedy That We All Came For

It’s safe to say that everyone in the room was belly laughing during Ciaran Lyons’ stand up show What’s Next? Delivering relatable Perth humour and stories that made the crowd hoot with laughter, his laid back style of presentation created an atmosphere of good vibes all round. From awkward experiences at a Thai massage parlour, right through to range of stories involving his ex, his savage humour provided the audience with quality feel-good comedy - exactly what we all came for.

The show was a perfect balance of laid back, yet hilarious. Lyons made sure to provide a good amount of audience interaction, picking on people in the front row and expertly improvising to seamlessly integrate them into the show. The intimate setting at Casa Mondo helped to create a conversation-like feel to the performance, giving the show a much more personal feel. The amount of laughter and smiles throughout Lyons’ performance made it easy to forget about the hard seats and lack of leg room - really, his stage presence was absolutely on point. Not once did I ever feel disinterested or bored, as I’m sure was the case with everyone else (given away by their constant guffaws and giggles).

My only complaint was that the show didn’t go on for long enough. I personally could have done with at least another hour of watching the man perform. It’s clear that Lyons is an extremely talented comedian and has much potential for the future. To find out for yourself, get tickets to his show now - you won’t regret it!
