Drop everything — The Drop Festival 2019 is serving up a line-up you can't refuse

Drop everything — The Drop Festival 2019 is serving up a line-up you can't refuse

With the surf, turf and an amazing handful of top-tier artists on the bill, The Drop Festival is back for a ripper 2019.

Supported by triple j and the World Surf League (WSL), the nationwide festival has drawn up much hype with yet another promising line-up featuring some of Australia’s biggest names in music. Not only is much-loved brother-sister duo Angus and Julia Stone amongst the headliners, but funky outfit Client Liaison and surf rock legends Hockey Dad will also be there to deliver the tunes. Of course, what’s an Australian music festival without the timeless presence of The Jungle Giants? Joining the already incredulous line-up will also be Alex The Astronaut — along with Brisbane’s Ball Park Music who will be playing in place of The Jungle Giants on the Newcastle leg.

Even better, The Drop’s wonderful line-up will be coupled with its local and environmentally sustainable focus — to make for a day that encourages the best things in life such as food, art, family fun and community culture.

Following the line-up earlier today, avid punters will be able to register for presale tickets for the festival. For a festival that is only in its second year of running, there’s absolutely no doubt that Australia is in for a treat. Those in WA, it’s time to book your accommodation for an unforgettable day in Margaret River (as below)!
