Tale of a Tall Fellow - Unique Perth Shirts
Tale of a Tall Fellow offers exceptional shirts designed by Di Nguyen. Her latest editions are from her range “The Hunted” which also features illustrations by local Josh Tavener. The shirts feature a host of species that have found themselves on the wrong side of a guns sight. The brand gives men in Perth a way to look great and do so knowing that nowhere else in Australia will their coverings be seen. Not only is TOATF a solely Perth brand, it also only offers a limited amount of stock, so the chances of you running into someone else lucky enough to own one of the shirts are as slim as their smalls.
One of the defining features of a city is its ability to host and support its young entrepreneurs, its young ideas folk. This is what separates the cities with culture and those without. We have oft heard the tale of the young artist or business person who’s packed up shop and moved interstate or abroad to seek the greener pastures away from the presumably yellowed ones of Perth. Not this enterprising lass.
Di shows that not only does Perth have the market, it now has the capabilities and the flexibility to see alternative business thrive. She's just one of the benefactors of Perth’s improvement and she's capitalised on the expanding pop up shop retail sector to sell her own unique line of shirts for men.
The shirts are all made by an Australian company in Indonesia that takes the sweat out of sweat shop, so you know you’re wearing ethical cloths. They are available at The Fox Hunt, a pop up shop at 220 William Street in Northbridge until Sunday the 15th of September. So make sure you get on them quick before they are all gone! You can pick up one of these pieces of wearable art for $95.
