Homechella – Perth's first online music festival

You thought the music scene would be dead thanks to the current pandemic. But you are wrong!

Dough Related has put together Homechella, Perth’s online music festival curated to keep the scene alive and exuberant via YouTube, Instagram and Twitch.

Over the course of the ANZAC weekend, Homechella will be close to 40 hours of streaming available for your viewing from genres ranging from Hip Hop to House and Afro beats to Soulection. Over the course of three days, Perth artists and DJ’s such as Tobias, JAYSNBRWN, T-Soko, 506, Tyler Rivers, Mowgli and so many more test out their skills to online streaming for your pleasure and enjoyment!

As you know, times are tough and those in the arts scene are taking it the worst, losing most of their income, earnings and gigs due to COVID-19. Homechella is a means to tackle the issue of lost venues, traditionally a place for artists to showcase their talents, where the stage has moved to an online presence to accommodate you, the viewer, to allow you to stay and entertained.

Put together by Dough Related’s very own talents, Raj Shah and Perth DJ JAYSNBRWN, Homechella boasts over 35 artists over three days with a wide grasp of genres and acts sure to catch your interests and boost your inspirations. Homechella kicks off from the 24th of April to the 26th from 3.30pm AWST onwards.
