Twenty One Pilots return with 'Bandito' world tour this December

After a year-long hiatus, Twenty One Pilots have announced a worldwide tour and are set to hit Australia early in December 2018. This followed the disclosure of new details surrounding their new album, Trench, and was accompanied by the release of two new singles from the album, ‘Jumpsuit’ and ‘Nico and the Niners’.

After the duo finished the Emotional Roadshow World Tour, the decision to go on hiatus saw Tyler Joseph falling off the map whilst Josh Dun collaborated with Lights on songs such as ‘Savage’ and ‘Almost Happened’. Luckily for fans, their genre-bridging structure and deeply relatable lyrics has long created a unique blend unlike any other in the industry. As many would agree, this has granted their music enough longevity to carry many through this silent period and to their long-awaited return.

Despite it only being a year since their last tour through Australia, many fans are welcoming the news of Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun’s return down under – with the eccentric duo set to be hitting arenas in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane respectively.

This, alongside the upcoming release of their fifth studio album, is sure to whet the appetite of fan bases all over Australia and prime anticipation for the U.S. duo's fifth Australian tour in as many years.
