In less than 2 months, WA dwellers will have the unmatchable chance to catch John Butler Trio and Angus & Julia Stone (+ with more incredible acts TBA) whilst lounging by the seaside.

Sunday, 20th November 2016, 2pm – 8pm, Cottesloe Beach

By the C is set to join the iconic Sculptures By the Sea annual showcase, with live music, food, sunset views, and community coalescing for what will be a stunning evening to grace Perth. For the first time in years, the waterfront of world-famous Cottesloe Beach will feature live sets from two of the country's most celebrated acts on its very own shores. 

Having played some of the biggest music festivals in the world recently – Governor’s Ball, Coachella, Lollapalooza – By the C will be a coastal homecoming for heart-conquering indie folk duo Angus & Julia Stone, who shall be delivering tracks from their latest self-titled record. 

Fremantle’s roots rock three-piece John Butler Trio, known for their extraordinary performances and superb musicianship, will follow suit, back-dropped by the burnt orange sunset over the Indian Ocean. 

So make plans to set down your picnic rug, lay back, drift away and simply unwind. By the C will also include pop-up bars, markets featuring goods and art by local makers, food stalls and picnic areas to cater to everyone. (No need to fret, the event is kid-friendly too!)

Alternatively, discarding your shoes for a dance in the sand is a perfectly encouraged response too. The two multi-platinum selling, multi-ARIA award winning headlining acts will no doubt have audiences enjoying the evening, and swaying amidst the sea breeze.
