INTERVIEW: MOVEMENTS DISCUSS ALL THINGS "RUCKUS" & NEW BLOOM FESTIVAL

Over the past (nearly) 10 years, Californian Post Hardcore/Midwest Emo act Movements have established themselves as one of the key voices of the new age of the alternative rock scene. With the band coming to Australia this week for the New Bloom Festival, we chatted with vocalist Patrick Miranda about their past experiences coming to Australia, the influences behind their latest album RUCKUS and their plans for the rest of 2024.

A twin sister duo from Walpole WA, Oceanique are becoming renowned for their emotive lyrics and angelic harmonies. Sisters Maddy and Jess have graced stages across the state, including performances at Nannup Music Festival, Hear and Now Festival, WAMFest and Hidden Treasures along with scoring a residency at the Leederville Songwriters Club. The duo recently dropped a new track, “Emotional Weight”, Isolated Nation caught up with Maddy and Jess to discuss their influences and the excitement leading up to their WA tour.
