Spoiler Nation Podcast: Marvel's Netflix Universe (PART 1) - Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage

On the third episode of Spoiler Nation, senior editor Howie and I get chatty (and a little catty) about Marvel's Netflix shows. The Marvel Netflix shows illustrate the seedier side of the MCU and feature heroes who are worlds away from Samuel L. Jackson and a billion dollar company, and are instead a little more like you and me. So far there's Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist. These characters will band together in The Defenders, which is due for release later this year.

Our discussion on the latest series, Iron Fist – a show full of so much “yikes, what in f's name were they thinking” that it snowballed into its own episode – will come out next week.

In this episode we delve into the positives and negatives of each show, a few interesting facts about their comic book roots, and I do a couple of my best (read: not good) Stan Lee impressions while the usually pleasant and measured Howie spits some acid on Daredevil's best pal Foggy Nelson. There are other things in there too but I guess you'll have to listen to find out. Enjoy:
