Giddy up for a rowdy ride in "Railed", presented by Head First Acrobats

Having just missed out on seeing Head First Acrobats this Fringe season due to the snap Covid-19 lockdown, I was more than ready to see the boys in action in Railed at The Rechabite. Drink in hand and excitement brewing, we eagerly took our seats and patiently awaited the strong, saucy entertainment that we were promised.

The boys rode onto stage on their stick horses. From the very start, it was plain to see that they were no stranger to putting on a show. Exuding an infectious energy that oozed with cheekiness and confidence, their comedic banter earned whoops and shouts from men and ladies alike. All four of them - Cal Harris, Thomas Gorham, Harley Timmermans and Adam McMahon - created a chaotic atmosphere that was evidently set somewhere in the wild, wild west. The premise of the show: a heist has been pulled off and it’s time to celebrate!

And celebrate they did. We were graced with amazing circus stunts and feats of strength, such as tumbling, balancing, a Cyr wheel and straps. All the while, the chaotic celebration of the heist was not lost in the action, with plenty of comedy laced throughout the show.

Impressive feats of athletic and acrobatic madness, coupled with adult comedy that will make you belly-laugh and groan - what more could you ask for? Enjoy the perfect evening of entertainment with Head First Acrobats in Railed at The Rechabite.

Get your tickets hot off the press before they sell out. Head to Megatix now!
