Perth Arena feat. Queens of the Stone Age, Nine Inch Nails, Pharrel Williams, The Rolling Stones, the Arctic Monkeys and POND

Perth Arena, via the powers that be at Frontier Touring are bringing some of the world’s biggest rock bands to Perth. The new venue, which has seen the likes of Bruce Springsteen to acclaim already, will be hosting tours from IN favourites Queens of the Stone Age and Nine Inch Nails (one of the biggest double headers we’ve ever seen), Arctic Monkeys bringing out their latest LP AM (let alone their back-catalog), and The Rolling Stones (who probably need no other words).

Oh, and add a Perth sideshow by Pharrel Williams during his time on the Future Music Festival we have an exciting few months coming up.

Queens of the Stone Age recently released their strongest effort yet in …Like Clockwork which saw three entries into the 2013 Triple J hottest 100; A feat matched by Arctic Monkeys’ 2013 album AM. NIN also released an album last year, the hotly anticipated and experimental album Hesitation Marks following his influences from How To Destroy Angels.

NIN and Queens of the Stone Age perform in two weeks, the 11th of March at Perth Arena, and tickets are available here. Next up is Pharrel, who plays here on the 14th of March shortly after receiving a Grammy for ‘Happy’ and travelling Australia as a late addition to the Future Music lineup, tickets here. Then five days later The Rolling Stones hit us up March 19th with what will be an amazingly high energy show, for such old chaps anyway, tickets here. Arctic Monkeys, with support from POND, perform on May 13th at the same venue, and tickets are available here.

We are excited.
