The Killer Falls Festival Lineup is Here!

The Killer Falls Festival Lineup is Here!

Falls Festival is turning 25 in 2018, and they have announced one of their best lineups ever to celebrate! Headlining this year will be Australia's favourite producer Flume (touring his superb second album Skin) and Seattle folkstars Fleet Foxes, who will be debuting tracks from their incredible new album Crack-Up for Aussie audiences.

There is plenty of depth to this line-up too. Amongst the international guests are firy rap duo Run the Jewels (whose third album is still as awesome as ever) and Long Beach MC Vince Staples, indie poppers Glass AnimalsThe Kooks and Foster the People, rapper D.R.A.M.Liam Gallagher and art-pop icons Everything Everything.

Of course, the Aussie acts are absolutely huge too. For starters, there is Darryl Braithwaite, who will probably bring the biggest singalong of all time with him. Plus, there will be singer-songwriters like Angus & Julia Stone, Alex Lahey and Julia Jacklin, beatsy boys like Peking Duk, Winston Surfshirt, Slumberjack and Allday, punk acts like Dune RatsThe Smith Street BandCamp Cope (who topped our best albums of 2016 list), DZ Deathrays, Bad//Dreems and Luca Brasi, and indie rockers like The Jungle Giants and Perth's own Methyl Ethel.

As well as some world-class music, Falls are promising creative installations, visual arts performances, pop-up bars and beer gardens, thoughtful camping facilities, comedy clubs, daily beach access, glorious gourmet fare, makers’ markets, local traders, beauty parlours, holistic yoga and well-being, plus loads more to be announced!

With Fremantle’s Kings Square redevelopment in full swing, the second ever rendition of Falls Downtown in WA has a new and even more exciting home in Fremantle! Falls Downtown 2018 will be taking over the Fremantle Oval Precinct along Parry Street, and will once again will be incorporating and reimagining historic sites, streets, carparks and buildings to delight, entertain and inspire the audiences and artists. The unique pass-outs policy will also continue to retain free flowing access to all of Fremantle’s many delights during the weekend – Fremantle Markets, cafes, restaurants, retailers, artisans, tourist sites, the port, Bather's Beach and more.
