Falls Festival Promising an Epic 26th Celebration!

Falls Festival Promising an Epic 26th Celebration!

After a hugely successful 25th anniversary in 2018, Falls Festival is back with another sensational line-up to help kick off everyone’s new year! Headlining this year will be Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals (with the highly anticipated possibility of many new songs to be performed from a yet to be released third album), Australian singer-songwriter Vance Joy, English band Catfish and the Bottlemen (also premiering some new soon-to-be hits), and Scottish trio Chvrches!

You may also be wondering where the other Aussie artists are at! Also joining us this year at Falls will be Hilltop Hoods (having just dropped their new single, ‘Clark Griswold’), Flight Facilities, talented ladies Amy Shark and Mallrat, electronic producer Touch Sensitive, the psychedelic rock band King Gizzard & The Wizard, and Wollongong band Hockey Dad, amongst many others.

I wonder how Hockey Dad and Soccer Mommy will get along? The young female artist joins us from the US along with Toto, to perform the ageless hit ‘Africa’, no doubt, along with Asian hip-hop collective 88rising (feat Rich Brian, Joji and Niki) and punk kings Interpol. We also have Swedish sweethearts First Aid Kit and the colourful sounds of Cashmere Cat joining us from Norway!

Thus far 40 brilliant artists have been announced, with even more to come…

Like the 2018 event, Falls Downtown will be held at Fremantle Oval Precinct and once again will be sure to incorporate the local historic sites, streets, carparks and buildings to keep both audiences and artists entertained. Their unique pass-outs policy will continue to be in place, maintaining free flowing access to Fremantle’s surrounding charms such as cafes, markets, retailers, the port, Bathers Beach and much more!
