Angove Street Festival - 25th October

Angove Street Festival - 25th October

Brought to you by North Perth Local, the 2015 Angove St Festival is set to make its return on October 25th. Attracting over 50,000 people each year, the family-friendly festival celebrates all that is North Perth – the award-winning cafes, restaurants, retailers and cultural diversity that form the unique community surrounding Angove Street.

With an eclectic mix of entertainment, music, food and culture, this event has become a permanent fixture on the Perth event calendar. For music lovers, the most exciting aspect of the one-day event would perhaps be its string of musicians performing live at the Rosemount main stage. All local, these live acts are proudly presented by Cool Perth Nights, Sailor Jerry and Rosemount Hotel. Prepare to be blown away and uplifted by Big Splash 2015 winner and supreme up-and-comer pop Jacob Diamond, classic upbeat blues and breezy jazz purveyors The Grain, master of the falsetto and catchy tunes Tim Nelson, folk songstress Lucy Peach, dream-pop sounds of Silver Hills and classic songwriter stylings from country rock ensemble The Wilds, along with MC Justin Walshe – all jam-packed into one congruous occasion. Even more homegrown acts will be situated at the Busker Zone, featuring Lucas Jones, Hank, Wolf Arrow, Calvin Donnelly, May Sinq Puppet, Ben Watson and Chris Ravat.

Don’t miss The Angove St Festival, as the one chance to catch all these talented acts in a single day. Sponsored by the City of Vincent, Lotterywest, Bendigo Bank and other indispensable local supporters, the Festival aims to not only bring the local community together, but to also entertain and offer.
