Maven Espresso

Maven Espresso

Maven Espresso is a relatively new café on the Perth scene. They opened at the end of August last year, in the new Raine Square shopping centre on William St in the city.

Their base bean is a 5 Senses blend, and they have two different seasonal blends on the go at all times, a white blend and a black blend. The black blend is subtly sweet and perfect for my tastebuds. The white blend is accented with the milk, offering a rich flavour on your tastebuds. They also feature guest Single Origin beans (the current is by Code Black Coffee). All coffee is made on a beautiful Synesso Hydra, with care by the baristas. They differentiate themselves from a generic coffee shop with the (brilliant) addition of their filter coffees. Slightly pricier than a flat white (they start at $8), they have pour-over and cold drip available.

I have never had a bad coffee at Maven. I always have good coffee. I often have great coffee. Maven is my regular morning coffee on my way to struggle through a day of university.

I recommend trying it for yourself.
